If you don’t already know about Sanvello, it is a therapy app created to help decrease symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression using cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness.
It provides you with virtual coaching, guided meditations, different ways to deal with and understand your thoughts, setting goals for yourself, daily mood entries, a community board and more.
My favorite is the “thoughts” section where I am able to reframe my thoughts in a positive way identifying negative self talk and reframing it to be more truthful and positive.
I’ve used it now for about a month and I have truly seen positive differences in my daily life. I am more aware of the direction of my thoughts and how to direct them where they need to go. I am more aware of my moods and feelings daily which is especially helpful in my face to face therapy sessions with Gina. And when I am caught up in a bad feeling, I am able to go through a meditation or identify them and not let it drown me.
If you already have a therapist, you can share all of your progress through the app with them!
The app is always free for the basic version but during this crisis, the premium version is free to all. I highly recommend this app!
